The Trullo sleeps 6/7 people in three bedrooms with three bathrooms, and is set in two acres of olive groves and beautifully maintained gardens featuring a private, salt-filtered pool. Rural, gated seclusion, but a mere 10-minute drive from the Adriatic coast and from the buzzing, baroque city of Ostuni; This beautiful Trullo is centrally located to explore all the natural, cultural and culinary wonders of Puglia.

Bedroom 1: A kingsize bed flanked by candle wall sconces under a stone trullo cone – the most romantic night’s sleep available – which opens onto the trullo’s central courtyard. Two comfy sofas and armchair, a wood burning stove for winter guests and a gallery of original artworks bring a cosy focus to this imposing, traditionally stone-flagged space; while air conditioning, TV, free Wifi, Netflix and an extensive DVD library makes it a true home from home. |

Fully equipped, including coffee machine, gas hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and SMEG retro fridge freezer, the kitchen area has been kitted out with the best quality equipment, anticipating every culinary eventuality! Practical meets beautiful in ‘shabby chic’ styling, artfully mismatched tiling and the trullo’s characteristic focus on original artwork and quirky touches. |

Dressing Room: annexed to the Trullo bedroom and similarly featuring a stone trullo cone ceiling, this charming space includes a Victorian linen press and a queen size, velvet, sprung sofa bed. Study area: situated under the fourth stone trullo cone and featuring a small library of books, a beautiful Victorian mahogany roll-top desk, packed with luxury board games and puzzles; and a professional telescope to take advantage of the zero light pollution in this magical spot. A recent stargazing guest was thrilled to see Saturn’s rings through it! Utility Room: including a top loader washing machine, accessible from the terrace and more of a large cupboard, but perfect for keeping domestic chores well away from the holidaying. |
Cleaning & Linen | Full Covid-safety deep cleaning between all guest stays, with weekly cleaning also available to be paid locally. Pool and bath towels are all supplied. |

Parking: The Trullo grounds are gated and dry-stone walled for complete privacy and security, with parking for three cars inside the gate. Courtyard and verandah: An expansive, stone paved courtyard, shaded by a central tree is the focus of the Trullo, adjoined by a spacious, stone verandah with a flat roof with sea view. The verandah is equipped with table and chairs for six, work units and sink for al fresco dining and a brick barbecue, making it the perfect space for enjoying the freshest of Puglian fayre in the shade of a spectacular star-vaulted, stone roof. Pool: a 10 x 5m salt filtered private pool with a maximum depth of 1.5m surrounded by a sun deck with sun loungers, shades and deckchairs. Pool room: where guests will find two bikes at their disposal – one Poggio racing bike, one Dutch style woman’s bike - plus crates of pool toys, inflatables, snorkelling equipment, kites and children’s beach toys. Side terrace: with outdoor shower for al fresco washing in total privacy. Grounds: Set in a secluded spot within two acres of ancient olive groves, comprising approximately 50 trees. Pretty, maintained gardens around the house provide a forager’s feast of fresh herbs, lemons, pomegranates, nerolis, almonds, prickly pears, capers and, of course, olives. The garden also features an oak swing and a hammock, for lazily swinging in the shade of an olive tree. |

A deposit of 30% of the total holiday cost is payable immediately upon booking confirmation. The remaining 70% to be paid at least 28 days prior to your holiday commencement. If booking is made within 28 days of your arrival the full holiday cost is payable immediately.
Prior to your holiday a deposit of €500 will be requested against potential damage caused to the property during your stay. This deposit will be returned to you in full immediately after your holiday should no such damages have occurred.
